Ingrédients
  

Pizza Dough

  • 1 cup water lukewarm
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 200 g roast or grilled chicken, cut into pieces
  • 150 g tomato sauce
  • 200 g grated cheese (mozzarella or preferred type)
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 1 each bell pepper (green or red), sliced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning (basil, oregano, thyme)
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine the flour, yeast, olive oil, and warm water in a large bowl. Add a pinch of salt and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. Let it rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes until it doubles in size. Once risen, roll out the dough on a floured baking tray.
  • In a pan, sauté the onion and bell pepper in a little olive oil until softened. If you prefer a spicy touch, add red pepper flakes at this stage. Set the cooked veggies aside.
  • Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza dough. Top with chicken pieces, sautéed veggies, and sprinkle the grated cheese over it. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap out the toppings with any vegetables you have on hand. You can also marinate the chicken beforehand for extra flavor.
