Équipement

  • Grill
  • Skewer Sticks

Ingrédients

  • 600 g Beef (tender cuts such as rump steak or sirloin)
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 Red onion
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Skewer sticks

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the beef cubes and mix well to coat. Cover and let it marinate for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  • Thread the beef, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating the ingredients. Make sure not to pack them too tightly for even cooking.
  • Grill the skewers on medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, turning frequently. Alternatively, cook in a hot pan or on a plancha for the same amount of time. If using an oven, cook at 200°C for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through.

Notes

You can customize the skewers by adding other vegetables like zucchini, cherry tomatoes, or olives. You can also spice them up with a bit of chili or use different herbs for a Mediterranean twist.
